Abel Gonzalez-Huete

 Abel Gonzalez-Huete was born and raised in Spain. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Alcala (Madrid, Spain) in 2019 and served as Radiology Resident at Ramon y Cajal University Hospital (Madrid, Spain) from 2020 to 2024. He is expert in Emergency Radiology (Francisco de Vitoria University, Madrid, 2022) and in Clinical Research Methodology (Catholic University San Antonio, Murcia, 2022).
 
As radiology resident he showed interest in breast imaging. In early 2024, he pursued a clinical and research fellowship in breast imaging at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) under the leadership of Dr. Ritse Mann, focusing on multimodal imaging techniques (including mammography, ultrasound, tomosynthesis, and MRI) and breast interventional procedures. Abel is a collaborator in the Breast Imaging Group (BIG) on several projects including segmentation and interpretation of breast MRI. He is also engaged in medical editorial projects and various scientific and research activities, contributing to several projects.
