Karine Morche is a Brazilian medical doctor who graduated from PUCRS class of 2020, who has always been driven by a dual passion for clinical practice and the endless possibilities of research and innovation in healthcare. She worked in different research groups as a research assistant during her education. After completing her graduation, she moved to the Netherlands to continue her career path in the country. Initially, she worked as a Clinician Telemedical Doctor and later as a Research Physician at MUMC+. Currently, she is enrolled as a Clinical PhD Candidate in the Radiology Department at Radboudumc and the BIG group. Her main roles involve taking care of the medical aspects within the Safe-MRI project. This research aims to create tools and data necessary to implement an abbreviated breast MRI screening for younger women, with the goal of reducing the severe repercussions of breast cancer for patients.
