Lejla Kočo

Lejla Kočo is working as PhD researcher within the Radiology department at Radboudumc in Nijmegen. Her academic foundation lies in a Master's in Medical Biology, specialized in Clinical Biology and Science in Society at Radboud University. Since 2018, her research journey has been focused on the evaluation and optimization of breast cancer care, employing a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Through studies involving interviews, database analysis, and simulation, Lejla has focused on enhancing the effectiveness of breast cancer care pathways. Her collaborative efforts have extended to working with diverse stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and industry partners. Motivated by the intersection of science and societal impact, she is committed to contributing to healthcare optimization through implementation of scientific knowledge in clinical practice and innovative interventions.
