Zeycan Kübra Cevval
Zeycan Kübra Cevval was born and raised in Turkiye. She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2016 and began her radiology residency shortly thereafter. In 2022, she successfully completed her residency by presenting her thesis. Currently, she works as a specialist radiologist at a university hospital in Türkiye, specializing in breast radiology and interventional radiology.
Her interest in breast radiology began during her residency. She has six years of clinical experience in breast imaging, including breast ultrasound, tomosynthesis, mammography, MRI interpretation, and breast interventional procedures. She is actively involved in research and studies focused on breast radiology.
Since October 2024, she has been a visiting research and clinical fellow in the Radiology Department of Radboud University Medical Center in Nijmegen, under the mentorship of Dr. Ritse Mann. During this fellowship, she has been collaborating with PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from the Breast Imaging Group (BIG) on several innovative projects, including MRI vessel segmentation, MRI interpretation as well as breast CT evaluation.
Dr. Cevval holds the European Diploma in Radiology and is an active member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI).
